In this 2-hour presentation designed for mental health professionals, you will learn what ecotherapy is, how it can benefit both you and your clients, and why incorporating nature into the therapy space is an act of social justice. You will leave the workshop with tangible strategies for screening and assessment, tools for case conceptualization in an outdoor environment, and nature-based interventions to use with a range of presenting concerns. We will end the workshop with a case study and discussion exploring ethical and cultural considerations in a nature-based setting.
