Remember when art class was the best part of the day?
Paper Portrait: Crafting with Your Inner Child is a playful evening of cut-paper self-portraits, hosted by Queer Healing Collective in partnership with Hard Feelings and led by Luke Lopez, for our queer community.
The portraits are flat collage: a coloured background sheet, then a face, hair, features and accessories cut freehand from construction paper. Obviously, glitter glasses, hats, earrings and big hair are all encouraged.
We’ll reconnect with the younger parts of ourselves through low-pressure, joyful making. No art experience needed, all supplies are provided, and you’ll go home with your very own self-portrait your inner child will be so proud of.
